Join American Hauntings in Southwest Pennsylvania for a night of hauntings and horror that you won't soon forget -- spend the night in the dark confines of infamous "Demon House", a haunted attraction where the ghosts are REAL!

The Coyle Mansion was originally built on a 500-acre estate as a country getaway for Cyrillia Caldwell, a wealthy "healer" who attracted visitors from all over the country. The stone for the house was quarried on the property and although it took several years to build, no records exist to say when the house was actually completed. Very little information exists today about the original house (it's been added onto many times over the years) or its mysterious original occupants.  
The mansion was purchased in 1938 by the Coyle family, who had made their fortune during Prohibition by operating speakeasies in the region. They also operated theaters, including the now abandoned Coyle Theater in nearby Charleroi, Pennsylvania. After the Coyles died out, the house changed hands many times over the next several decades and was finally purchased by Bill McCue, who has done extensive work behind and in front of the camera in Hollywood, in 2005. He decided to charge the sprawling house into a haunted attraction called "Demon House". The attraction opened later that year and has since become one of the most popular Halloween destinations in Southwest Pennsylvania, bringing in thousands of visitors every fall. Strangely, very few of those visitors are aware of the fact that some of the supernatural events they are seeing in the house are real!!

Since "Demon House" opened, workers and staff members have encountered a wide array of ghostly activity. Both a spectral woman and a ghostly young girl have been seen wandering the hallways. People have heard voices, footsteps and unexplained sounds. They have been touched by unseen hands and followed through the house and the basement. Workers often report their tools vanishing from where they were left, only to appear in various odd spots throughout the house.

 

Now, join American Hauntings for a chilling overnight at one of Pennsylvania's most haunted -- but least known --  locations, "Demon House". Spend the night looking for the ghosts of this historic -- and very haunted -- mansion with a limited number of ghost hunters during a private ghost hunt at the house. Find out if the place is really as haunted as people are starting to claim and perhaps come face to face with one of the former occupants of mansion! The evening will include a tour of the mansion, followed by an all-night ghost hunt!
