Built in 1910 as a state-of-the-art medical facility called Williams Hospital, this place of care endured for years, known widely for its surgical floor and modern morgue, but the only patients that walk these floors today are of the spirited kind. Over the years, this historic site transformed into Mercy Hospital and then expanded into a clinic with x-ray rooms and a modern library. It later operated as a convalescent home, a nursing home, and more, only to be abandoned in 2015. Since then, it’s been converted into creative working spaces and art galleries.
With more than 30,000 square feet of space, guests can delve into the many mysteries that remain within these old walls and can uncover the history that lingers in the shadows. From former patients to previous medical staff, halfway house residents, nursing home patients, and more, past visitors have had many encounters with interactive spirits.
Investigators and guests have reported heavy energy and unsettling experiences around the old morgue in the basement, as well as on the second floor, where a woman in an old-fashioned nurses’ uniform has been seen pacing the corridors.
